Welcome to the Archives of The Paul Rudolph Institute for Modern Architecture. Amhowitz Residence

The project scope is to design a residence for Harris Jacob Amhowitz (1934-2016) and Melanie Gale [Geisler] Amhowitz (1947-). Harris Amhowitz is a graduate of Harvard Law School and practices law in New York City. A partnership with friends drew him to Tucson as a part-time pistachio farmer.
In 1977, Myron Goldfinger also designed an apartment for the client in New York City.
