Welcome to the Archives of The Paul Rudolph Institute for Modern Architecture. The purpose of this online collection is to function as a tool for scholars, students, architects, preservationists, journalists and other interested parties. The archive consists of photographs, slides, articles and publications from Goldfinger’s lifetime; physical drawings and models; personal photos and memorabilia; and contemporary photographs and articles.

Amhowitz Residence

The project scope is to design an interior alteration to an existing apartment for Harris Jacob Amhowitz (1934-2016) and Melanie L Amhowitz (1947-). Harris joined Lybrand, Ross Brothers, and Montgomery (later Coopers & Lybrand) in 1969 as its first General Counsel.
955 Fifth Avenue is a prewar building designed by Rosario Candela. It was completed in 1938 and converted to a cooperative in 1955. The 18 storey building has 32 units with only two units per floor.
Harris Amhowitz passes away on August 27, 2016.
